Industrial gear oil is the best space and environment for industrial grease to operate in cool, dry and clean environments. Of course, if we’re being realistic, the industrial environments in which these gears are operating have all the conditions except for these conditions, which is why choosing the right gear oil can be very difficult.
Properties of industrial gear oil
- It has excellent thermal stability and good oxidation properties
- Very good resistance to rusting and corrosion
- It has the ability to separate oil from water
- Compatible with mineral oils
- It has very good anti-wear properties
- It has the ability to prevent the formation of sediment and sludge
- Excellent temperature-viscosity property
- Not miscible with mineral based oils

Industrial gear oil
Industrial gear oils with pressure effect reduction (EP) properties have been developed for use in the gears of steel, cement, rubber processing machines, papermaking, as well as heavy-duty gears including spiral and hypoid gears and simple chambers.
Synthetic-based gear oils (PAO) with longer life; for use at higher temperatures, with the property of reducing the effect of pressure (EP) and excellent water separability, especially for the operation of wind turbine gearboxes, steel industry machinery, rubber process machinery, papermaking as well as gears subjected to heavy and sudden loads.
Gear oils with a polyalkali glycol base and special additives are produced for the purpose of driving spiral gears and industrial gears under heavy loads and industrial gearboxes.
They have a very wide operating temperature range in the range of 30 to 150 degrees Celsius variably for different industries.
